42 ft narrowboat Jade IV
Half way through a full renovation, selling purely down to moving away with my partner.
Jade has been my home now for three years.
Everything has been stripped back and refurbished as follows.
Blacked every year for the last three years.
Minor welding work done to the rear gas lockers.
Engine bay repainted.
Engine replaced with a Lister PETA.
Gas access disconnected but readily available.
Water tank disconnected but available.
New Morso Squirrel installed by heatas two years ago along with new flu and chimney.
New electrical system installed, 8 double 24 volt sockets with five separate 12 volt lines.
1000 watt inverter.
900 watt solar panels keeps basic electrical needs going no problem, even in winter.
3 way electrical system for 12/24 volt or shoreline power.
Pram hood and cratch covers two years old, no tears or damage keeping stern nice and dry.
New wood seating in bays.
New paintwork 10 months old.
Currently with sign writing but can be removed with the aid of white spirit.
Compoosting toilet 12 volt.
12 volt fridge.
The interior is the only remaining part of this boat that needs to be finished, as stated is liveable with a bsc until the end of May 24.
Previous hull inspection is also available on viewing.
I’m open to offers but will not consider less than 10% of the asking price, I’ve looked around and feel this is more than fair. Currently moored on the Thames at Henley.
